With the current global situation, we have made the difficult but unavoidable decision to reschedule our HIFI2020 show to ensure the health and safety of all our visitors and exhibitors. The Show is rescheduled to 18-20 September at the same venue in central Sydney. Current tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event, and ticket holders will receive an email enabling refunds if desired. In case of difficulties, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
HIFI2020 will be featuring the spectacular Audio Research REF160M 140W stereo power amp (pictured top), coming to the show with Synergy Audio-Visual, who is pairing it with gorgeous Sonus faber speakers. The Audio Research powerhorse uses four KT150 output valves and two 6H30 driver valves, and has been hailed around the world as one of the greatest amplifiers ever built: “A genius mix of both rebellion and restraint”, said Ken Kessler in the UK’s Hi-Fi News, “I suffer no hesitation in judging it one of the finest amplifiers I have ever heard, regardless of price.”
BUT THERE'S MORE! Also with Synergy at HIFI2020: Cambridge and ELAC< McIntosh, Rega, REL, Mobile Fidelity, and Quadraspire: this is a room in which music lovers should be ready to settle down and spend some time. You'll find SYNERGY AUDIO-VISUAL on the Ground Floor in the LAVENDER BAY ROOM.

It’s always a treat to get up close and personal with VIVID AUDIO’s curvaceous loudspeakers, and for HIFI2020 Avation will be bringing Vivid’s latest KAYA 45 design, a direct descendant of Vivid’s famed GIYA loudspeakers, sharing much of the same technology along with design input from the legendary Laurence Dickie, whose work includes the equally legendary Nautilus design for B&W. See them in Room 13 of the Corridor of Sound: for more information, click here!
HIFI2020 will play host to a world-first demonstration – a full specification DTS:X Pro 30.2 immersive home cinema!
Leaders in commercial and home cinema speaker systems Krix will partner with Trinnov Audio to put on a show of epic proportions – demonstrating the dramatic improvement a high speaker count can have on spatial resolution and realism.
You'll be right in the middle of the action – hear musical instruments fill the room, birds fly overhead, and cars crash around you, in one of the biggest spatial audio demonstrations of its type, ever.
Entry to the Krix Immersive Cinema is included in your HIFI2020 ticket, but to avoid queues we advise booking a session in advance here: https://krix.eventbrite.com.au
